Sarah Jessica Kamara

Sarah Jessica Kamara supports CHaRT-SL’s financial management and development of research field sites. She is a results-oriented finance professional with experience in financial management, banking, and customer service. Sarah holds an MBA and a BSc in Business Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), University of Sierra Leone (USL). She also earned a Diploma in Banking and Finance from Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, now the Milton Margai Technical University (MMTU) in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Currently serving as the Finance Officer for the World Bank-funded Comprehensive Health and Epidemiological Surveillance System (CHESS) project at Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL), Sarah oversees financial operations, budget preparation, compliance, and reporting for CHESS activities in two districts.

Her prior experience includes over a decade of service with Ecobank Sierra Leone, where she excelled in roles ranging from Teller and Head Teller to Customer Service Manager, developing strong expertise in banking operations, cash management, customer relations, and staff training.

Sarah is known for her strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and professional attitude. She is a dedicated team player who consistently delivers good-quality results. Her career objective is to leverage her skills to contribute meaningfully to organizational success while pursuing opportunities for professional growth.
